Seraya Secrets

Just southeast of Tulamben lies Seraya Secrets, a world-class muck diving site where the black-sand seabed hides extraordinary marine life. What appears simple from the surface transforms into a treasure ground of rare and exotic critters beneath. Close to shore, the shallow zone known as “Top Secrets” (3–9m) features scattered rocks, tiny coral patches, and sponges a perfect habitat for frogfish, lionfish, eels, sea moths, and the iconic harlequin shrimp. Further down the slope, “Deep Secrets” (10–35m) reveals micro-ecosystems filled with seahorses, mimic octopus, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, striped catfish, colorful crinoids, and larger frogfish all waiting to be found by keen-eyed divers and photographers.
